Cheela chilla

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 green chili, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • ½ tsp red chili powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Water (as needed)

  • Oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix gram flour, onion, green chili, coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt.

  2. Add water gradually and make a smooth, lump-free batter (medium thickness).

  3. Heat a pan or tawa and lightly grease it with oil.

  4. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin circle.

  5. Cook on medium heat, drizzle a little oil around the edges, and flip when golden.

  6. Cook the other side until crisp and fully cooked.

  7. Serve hot with green chutney or curd.
